What is a company worth?

Astute investors exclaim: the sum of all future cash flows, discounted to present value! There are numerous ways to value a company. Most methods involve locating and reading financial statements. Financial statements lend an insight into a company's current financial standing (balance sheet) and a record of financial performance (income and cash flow statements). Comparing historical financial statements allows investors to create assumptions about future performance.

How do I find financial statements?

Many public companies will email financial reports to investors through their investor portal. I encourage you to explore this portal for each company you own.

For all others, there's Got Earnings?

Got Earnings? locates, downloads, and scans public earnings reports to send to our investors.
